Letters to God... hope is contagious

Letters to God movie

Letters to God is inspired by my (Patrick’s) son, Tyler who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive childhood brain tumor, Medulloblastoma. The story is about a young boy fighting cancer who writes letters to God, touching lives in his neighborhood and community and inspiring hope among everyone he comes in contact. An unsuspecting substitute postman, with a troubled life of his own, becomes entangled in the boy's journey and his family by reading the letters. They inspire him to seek a better life for himself and his own son he's lost through his alcohol addiction.

The film stars Robyn Lively, Jeffery S.S. Johnson, Michael C. Bolten, Tanner Maguire, Bailee Madison, Ralph Waite, Maree Cheatham and Cris Cunningham. Written and co-directed by Patrick Doughtie along with director David Nixon.
