While there are undoubtedly great institutions and organizations across the country and throughout the world, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN is leading the way in research and studies for all childhood cancers. The most pressing issue is finding treatments that work and prayerfully lead to cures for each type of children’s cancer. Therefore, collected funds will be funneled directly to St. Jude hospitals research teams in hope that it will expedite the process instead of spreading the funding thinly throughout the industry and many different organizations. Just finished with the NRB. Natalie and Jayson are still there, but what a great response from radio stations willing to help spread the hope and the many messages of Letters to God. I had the opportunity to spend some time with one of our stars, Jeffery S.S. Johnson, what a character... even off screen! I want to commend Terri, Natalie, Jayson and George for the great effort and (painstaking) time it took to be involved in this great event and to talk to the hundreds of people who are interested in the Letters to God movement... and that's what this has all become.

Four weeks from tomorrow, Letters to God hits theaters nationwide! The countdown is exciting and already the local theaters are displaying the movie poster. Until then, there's still screenings going on across the country, the movie's premiere in Orlando, FL takes place on the 31st and the Nashville event, billed as a fundraiser, will be on April 6th.
Books are in stores and, so far, are selling very well. Heard from my editor on the children's book that it too is selling well. It's also currently in the Scholastic Books order sheet being handed out to children across the country for the spring book fair! Also, very exciting!

Well, we're two weeks out from the release of Letters to God. Myself, Tanner Maguire and David Nixon were all on a whirlwind media tour in Dallas, TX and Chicago where we did multiple television and radio interviews. What a blast. It was great seeing Tanner again, especially since I haven't seen him since he's grown his hair out.
Coming up, we're back to Dallas then Atlanta and Orlando for more interviews before getting all dressed up for the Orlando premiere on the 31st. Then it's back to Nashville for our premiere fundraising event where proceeds will benefit Monroe Carrel Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. The Nashville premiere fundraiser went off without a hitch! A lot of media coverage, musical talent, Jeffrey Johnson, Michael Bolten, Derek Leonidoff & Cris Cunningham... who could ask for more?
Everyone enjoyed the movie and the after party was fabulous with performances by Ann Marie Boskovich accompanied by Trina Harmon on the piano, Due West, Paul Colman, Michael Bolten and specail appearance by the Warren Brothers! We also had been graced with the presence of Steve Cropper and several other musical talents! What a great kick-off to the opening weekend. The movie is still in select theaters across the country, still not doing very well but hoping the marketing is MUCH better on the DVD release, if not we'll see the same lack of success. It's a shame too. The movie deserved a much better chance at success than it was given. Regardless, it is changing lives of those fortunate enough to see it which was the entire reason to begin with but I would have liked to have seen it...
Hello! I'm very excited and proud to say that I have signed a contract with SINGLE SOURCE SPEAKERS AGENCY for representation in the speakers market! They are the very same agency that recently signed Bristol Palin!
What does this mean? First, it means that I have someone to handle promoting and scheduling me as a speaker. Next, it means that I can get paid to do what I do best... talk! I know, some of you are in shock! But yes, I'm very excited. I'll get to travel to different cities and states and speak at events, churches, conferences, colleges and more!

Hey guys! Just a quick update for ya, Letters to God DVD released August 10th! You can pre-order your copy through Walmart.com, where it was the #1 pre-ordered movie, or through Lifeway. If you pre-order through Lifeway, you'll get, an exclusive through them only, wristband with each DVD!!
Also, we're still raising funds for our next film, Paper Wings, which we're hoping to be in production on by Fall. Many exciting things happening at the moment but for now, I'm finished with book signings - I'm relieved but I did meet an awful lot of great folks! I look forward to resuming signings as time permits and requests come in.
